Explain Critical Information

When a business changes its structure, launches a new product, or markets itself
in a new arena, employees and vendors are charged with absorbing a lot of critical
detail —so they can perform their role as expected.

I have edited, illustrated, designed, and formatted many documents and specification
guides where the stakes were high, and the final publication was considered to be the
definitive word on the company's position.

These types of initiatives usually involve a large quantity of information, many
subject matter experts, and a short timeframe for production.

Through experience, I’ve established a set of best practices for how to develop
these publications in the most efficient way possible, while keeping all
of the stakeholders on board, and engaged in the process.

Shown here are three examples of user guides for programs sponsored by
McDonald’s corporation: The McCafe´ Beverage Program, Drive-Thru Optimization,
and McDonald’s in Walmart Best Practices.

Each document was produced as printed material and as an interactive PDF.
